Epson iPrint: Wireless Printing App Review
Epson iPrint is a specialized printing utility for mobile devices by Seiko Epson Corporation. It provides a wide range of options for all kinds of printing, including previewing, scaling, sharing, and cloud printing. You can download Epson iPrint for iOS on App Store and Android on Play Market.
Functionality – 5/5
Epson iPrint app is developed to print photos and documents remotely as well as initiate scanning and copying from your mobile device. You can print documents from your internal device storage, memory cards (Android only), and cloud storages, including Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote, Box, and Microsoft One Drive. The app supports Siri shortcuts so that you could control the process hands-free.
Design – 4.5/5
Even though Epson iPrint latest version isn’t the prettiest utility, it’s incredibly clear. You can access all features from the home menu, where all commands and settings are divided into tiles. Of course, a bottom navigation bar could work out better, but this version is simple too. Everything works smoothly, and you don’t have to tap anything twice to make it work.
Usability – 5/5
Both Android and iOS Epson iPrint apps make work with Epson print and copy equipment much faster and simpler. Everything from connecting a printer to actual printing is intuitive and quick. You can use your device to manage printing, scanning, and copying remotely. It also reveals an opportunity to print everything you need from anywhere using the Internet. You can send documents and files from your device and personal or corporate clouds. There’s also an option to use a device camera to make quick high-resolution scans for direct printing.
All compatible Epson printers can also send scans right to your device, so your colleagues can send you a copy of any document immediately.
Cross-platform Use – 5/5
At the moment of publishing this Epson iPrint review, the app was available for iOS 10.0+ and Android 5.0+. A similar app is also available for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. You can connect an unlimited number of Epson printers to the app.
Epson iPrint free app provides you with a full list of features. You don’t have to pay for a subscription, updates, or additional features. If you use a cellular network to send and receive files, you may be charged by your operator in accordance with your data plan.
Epson iPrint is a convenient remote controller for the entire model line of Epson printers and all-in-one machines. This app saves a lot of time on scanning, printing, and copying, because you can use it to launch any operation from anywhere you are without quality losses. It’s also compatible with a wide range of auxiliary Epson applications, such as Creative Print.
