Earn to Die 2: Tough Zombie Race Review
Earn to Die 2 is a 2D platform zombie shooter game by Not Doppler studio. In this post-apocalyptic game, you have to ride through devastated cities and smash hordes of hungry monsters with your car’s bumper. You can download Earn to Die 2 on App Store and Play Market for iOS and Android.
Graphics – 5/5
Earn to Die 2 game has authentic 2D vector graphics. All locations consist of several floors and moving backgrounds with cityscapes. Everything is highly detailed and colored in gloomy tones. Vehicles have rather advanced physics, and you can wreck them completely. Zombies also disintegrate when you hit them, and blood spills over the car.
Gameplay – 5/5
Earn to Die 2 gameplay is inspired by the Hill Climb Racing. Your aim in every mission is to drive through a location safely to reach the end and unlock new tracks. Your supplies of fuel are limited, so you have to accelerate wisely to reach refueling checkpoints. If your car stops, zombies reach it and get inside. Use upgrades to increase the capacity of fuel tanks, make acceleration less consuming, improve handling and hardness of the body. You can also install heavy weapons on the roof. There are machine-guns, flamethrowers, grenade launchers, etc. Besides, you can buy a jet engine for deadly speed-ups. Unlike the original game Earn to Die 2 latest version includes multiple new locations around the USA.
Controls – 5/5
Earn to Die 2 racing game has 4 on-screen buttons. There are 2 buttons for acceleration and boost on the right and 2 for handling on the left. You don’t have to turn left or right, but try to keep the vehicle horizontal. If it turns turtle, you have no chances to survive. If you played Hill Climb, you would get used instantly. Earn to Die 2 system requirements are very low. You can install it on iOS 6.0+ and Android 3.2+ devices.
Replay Value – 5/5
Earn to Die 2 full game walkthrough may take several hours. Missions are generally short and action-packed. You have to rush through factories, tunnels, and rooftops as fast as possible to get in time to the savior point. There’s also a sense in replaying levels to get all achievements and collect over 60 survival kits, which are hidden around the map.
Earn to Die 2 is an excellent sequel of one of the best post-apocalyptic racing games since the legendary Carmageddon. It offers much more missions, more detailed locations, better physics, plenty of upgrades, and incredibly immersive gameplay. The only thing that we want to criticize in this Earn to Die 2 review is microtransactions. The game isn’t free but provides 7 paid money packs for faster progress.
