WWE Mayhem: Best WWE Fighting Simulator Review
WWE Mayhem is a 3D fighting game based on the universe of the famous WWE show. In this arcade, you can experience playing your favorite WWE members, including John Cena, Seth Rollins, The Rock, and many more. You can download WWE Mayhem for iOS on App Store and Android on Play Market.
Graphics – 4.5/5
WWE Mayhem game has stylized graphics. Characters have realistic physics, but cartoony body design. Their muscles look like they are carved from wood. It’s not very realistic but creates a real impression of the limitless power of the best WWE members. The only weirdness is character legs. For some reason, they are too short and remind gnome legs. It’s justified only by the casualness of the entire title.
Gameplay – 5/5
WWE Mayhem gameplay is softcore. There are no complicated combinations of moves like in Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter. Instead, you can fight with taps and swipes. There are several kinds of attacks and blocks. You have to be quicker than your opponents to hit them in gaps between attacks.
There are 6 player classes, including Brawlers, High Flyers, Wildcards, Showmen, and Powerhouses. You can play for each category one by one and test their skills in the team and weekly events. There’s also a multiplayer mode where you can compete with your friends or take part in online activities together to check out whose skills are more advanced.
Controls – 5/5
WWE Mayhem fighting game controls are far from traditional fightings. You have to tap the screen once for basic punches, swipe left and right for power-attacks, and tap-and-hold to capture enemies. There are also several combos which usually come as quick-time events. After a few clear shots, your opponent may fall down, so that you could make a finish off move in true WWE style. We also tested mobile gamepad input for this WWE Mayhem review. It requires a bit of training but provides an authentic combat feeling. There’s no point in random combos like in Street Fighter, but it’s still entertaining.
Replay Value – 5/5
To complete WWE Mayhem full game, you need around 6 hours because there are events for all WWE Superstars. You can play the campaign mission and replay them to get higher scores. The multiplayer events and friendly competitions are endless. You can fight for unlimited hours per day.
WWE Mayhem is not only the best WWE game for mobile platforms, but also one of the best fighting simulators for iOS and Android ever created. There are all famous characters of the legendary show right at your hands. Despite casual controls, each of them has many unique moves with astonishing animations and camera work.
Download WWE Mayhem to experience raw emotions of the most impressive fighting shot at your fingertips.
